The Turkana County Government Investment Promotion Unit is a multi-departmental collaboration domiciled within the County’s Ministry of Trade, Gender and Youth Affairs with the mandate of promoting, facilitating, and retaining both domestic and foreign direct investments in Turkana County through:

The Investment Promotion Unit advocates for investor-friendly governance, legislation and policies and serves as the one-stop-shop for doing business in Turkana through its strategic, organizational, and operational framework
Our Services
The Services of the Turkana County Investment Promotion Unit include:

Serving as the first point of reference for inquiries relating to investments in Turkana

Providing a framework to manage investor relations, advocacy, and aftercare

Identifying and profiling existing and new investment opportunities within Turkana County

Facilitating investors by providing assistance in establishing linkages with local suppliers of raw materials as well as other business resources including permits and licenses, investment incentives, and any useful statistical data.
