Turkana County Government 

The Turkana County Government was established under the 2010 Constitution of Kenya that created the devolved system of government. As one of the counties created under the new constitutional dispensation, Turkana County is led by the Governor H.E. Hon. Jeremiah Ekamais Lomorukai Napotikan and has 10 Ministries that make up the Executive arm of the County Government.

The Turkana County Investment Promotion Unit operates under the County  Department of Trade, Gender  and Youth Affairs  with the mandate of promoting, facilitating, and retaining both domestic and foreign direct investments in Turkana County.
